Well the bin idea sounds good, and I have a related question. Where should I actually be storing my project data? Maybe obvious to many, but I was just creating a parent folder with subfolders for all my projects on my main un-partitioned C drive. Then I started to have registry problems, as I was also swapping data back and forth from an external drive for each project. However, I'm always working off the C drive - directing Vegas to one subfolder per project .veg file. Advice from MS Support was to not cut copy paste data between an external drive and a folder directly placed on the C drive as it may be creating the registry errors. My understanding - and correct me if I'm wrong - is that for each project .veg file in Vegas you should use one folder with all the data in it. Is this correct? If so, where is the best location to place the parent folder, with all subfolders in Win 7? It's kind of a newb question but now I'm just not sure of th best location. I really hate the Libraries ... just seems like a redundant level. The bin idea sounds OK as it's proprietary to Vegas and if it works, so I'll try it out. Would it be OK to create a partition and then have OS and apps on one partition and all multimedia for projects on the other partition? Your thoughts suggestions?
